Everyone should have the opportunity to pursue their spiritual path. Spiritual solidarity with a higher power is as old as humanity and has been practiced by virtually all cultures. Many people say that it gives life meaning. 
All Americans want the opportunity to participate fully in their communities and our democracy with the rights and responsibilities that entails. It’s the American Spirit, being a part of something larger than ourselves.
