Spiritual solidarity with a higher power is as old as humanity and has been practiced by virtually all cultures. Many people say that it gives life meaning. Many LGBT people would like to pursue a spiritual path but have been rejected by their chosen religion, their place of worship and/or their clergy member.

This is an unfortunate reality for many. But it’s also part of the reason why the Gill Foundation builds bridges between people of different faiths and their religious institutions and leaders. Our thinking is that if people keep talking, they will come to some accord.
